Building Plans
It’s human nature to change our minds, but it’s a bit more complex when the final building doesn’t match the building plans. Also known as “As built” , there could be legal problems and the municipality can issue hefty fines if your building does not match the submission plans. “As built” project could also be illegal, in terms of their zoning (read about this in our blog) e.g. building a commercial building is a residential zone. I most cases we should be able to fix this for you, provided the structure is not illegal.

“Added on” Structures
Sometimes there are structures that you may have added to your building that you probably thought, “I don’t think these need plans”. This is a common misconception. If you added on a Solid carports or patio cover / Awning or any other structure to your property, chances are, you needed to have submitted plans to the municipality for approval. More importantly though, some structures need an engineers signoff, by law. We can help you fix this, or give you peace of mind – just book a first time appointment with us and we’ll get you sorted.

Re-Zoning
